We get out of bed in the morning, to help you do great work. And “work” in our dictionary doesn’t necessarily mean something you don’t enjoy doing. To us, work is putting in the hours of love and dedication to create great stuff. A cool design, writing a book, a revolutionary app or a world-changing startup.
We want you to be even greater than you already are, and we’re there to help. With a simple method, practical tools, lots of useful tips and even personalised training in the real world. We strive to keep you constantly up to speed on the latest developments in the world of productivity, but without the boring stuff.
At Saent, we believe…
- …traditional productivity is for robots, geeks and old men in grey suits.
- …you want to do great work, not necessarily more.
- …if you do great work, you’re a step closer to happiness.
- …we’re here to make your life easier, not to get in your way. We’ll never waste your time.
- …there is no magic bullet, sorry.
- …in practical tips and advice, not fluffy, vague, theoretical bullshit.
- …avoiding distractions is hard and procrastination comes easy. You’re not alone and we’re here to help.
- …tricks that help you tie your shoe laces 5 seconds faster are best left to lifehacker.com.
- …you can never stop learning and developing yourself.
Why do we believe?
Every day, people around the world are wasting time on unnecessary emails, tasks and other distractions. Partly this is because of stupid companies and bosses, but it’s also caused by people never having been taught how to properly deal with work in the 21st century. This leads to wasted talent and even health problems, such as stress and anxiety. Saent is here to change that.
Why do you believe?
- Want to finish work earlier to chill in the park?
- Be home in time to play with your kid?
- Have a better idea which opportunities to pursue and which to ignore?
- Be less distracted and spend less time on Facebook?
- Or you simply want to do more, so you can make more money?
It’s all good, even if you don’t know the answer yet, we’ll help you figure it out along the way.
Action speaks louder than words
If at any point you feel we’re not acting in accordance with our own beliefs, don’t hesitate to let us know through email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or whatever other means you can use to reach us. If you’re emailing, don’t hesitate to put Saent founder Tim in cc (tim@saent.co).
How did Saent happen?
Saent was founded in 2014 by Tim Metz, a 33 year old Dutch guy currently living in Beijing (China). If you’re interested to know what led him into Saenthood, or you’re simply wondering what the hell he’s doing in China: read his introduction here. You can of course also find him on Twitter and LinkedIn.
